DOE Extends Paducah Infrastructure Support Services Contract

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (EM) today announced it is extending its contract for Infrastructure Support Services at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant for a period of 2.5 months. The contract period for the current contractor, Swift & Staley, Inc. (SSI), had been scheduled to expire on September 15, 2015.

DOE Issues Final Request for Proposal for the Operation of Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride (DUF6) Conversion Facilities

Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Final Request for Proposal (RFP), for the Operation of Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride (DUF6) Conversion Facilities at Paducah, Kentucky and Portsmouth, Ohio. A cost-plus award fee and firm-fixed-price contract line item contract will be awarded from this Final RFP.

Savannah River Site Awards Small Business Contract to S&L Logistics

Aiken, SC (September 3, 2015) -The Department of Energy’s Savannah River Operations Office awarded a $12.8 million, fixed-price, contract to S&L Logistics LLC of St. Ignatius, Montana. The contract is for project scheduling and cost estimating support services at the Savannah River Site.

DOE Awards Contract for the West Valley Demonstration Project Probabilistic Performance Assessment

Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced the award of a contract to Neptune and Company, Inc. for the WVDP-PPA procurement that will provide support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP), and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in performing a probabilistic analysis to support the Phase 2 Decision making Alternative for the West Valley Demonstration Project and Western New York Nuclear Service Center.
