DOE Issues Sources Sought/Request for Information for Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management Technical Support Services

Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC) today issued a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) seeking interested parties with specialized capabilities to meet all of the requirements for the potential upcoming procurement for Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management (OREM) Technical Support Services. The purpose of the Sources Sought/RFI is to solicit interested parties’ input from small business concerns, with the intent of assessing set-aside possibilities.

DOE Awards Carlsbad Technical Assistance Contract

Cincinnati - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced today that Portage, Inc., the incumbent contractor, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, has been awarded a $42.4 million contract to provide technical support services to the DOE Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) in all program areas. The contract includes a three-year base period of performance with one two-year option period.

Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center today issued a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) seeking interested parties with specialized capabilities necessary to successfully perform all or a portion of the elements of scope for a potential upcoming competitive Environmental Management (EM) procurement(s) for the environmental cleanup projects and Hanford Site infrastructure and services at the Richland Operations Office (RL), hereafter referred to as “Richland Acquisitions – Post Fiscal Year 2018 Contract(s)” and to further determine whether or not all or a portion of the work can be set-aside for small and disadvantaged businesses.

DOE Prepared for Implementation of Oak Ridge Transuranic Waste Processing Center Services

Cincinnati - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) awarded a contract on June 18, 2015 to North Wind Solutions, LLC for support services at the Oak Ridge Transuranic Waste Processing Center (TWPC) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The total potential period of performance is 5-years, with a 3-year base period and one, 2-year option period. The total dollar value of this award is $123.9 Million (including all options).

DOE Announces Acquisition Strategy for Post Fiscal Year 2016 Legacy Cleanup at Los Alamos

Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center announced it intends to solicit by means of full and open competition for a company with the specialized capabilities necessary to successfully perform all of the elements of scope for the upcoming Environmental Management (EM) procurement for the longer term legacy cleanup requirements at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

Idaho Falls, ID- The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (EM) today announced it is extending its contract for the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project at the Idaho Site for a period of 6 months. The contract period for the current contractor, Idaho Treatment Group (ITG), had been scheduled to expire on September 30, 2015.

Idaho Falls, ID- The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (EM) today announced it is extending its contract for the Idaho Cleanup Project at the Idaho Site for a period of 6 months. The contract period for the current contractor, CH2M-WG Idaho, LLC, had been scheduled to expire on September 30, 2015.
