  • EA Annual Report to Congress

    Secretary of Energy Ernest J. Moniz has submitted a report to Congress, “Office of Enterprise Assessments Fiscal Year 2015 Independent Oversight Activities Overview.” The Office of Enterprise Assessments (EA) provides an internal management assessment function that examines activities relating to the environment, health, safety (nuclear and industrial), security (cyber and physical), and other critical functions of the DOE enterprise. The report contains an overview of EA independent oversight activities, findings, and recommendations for Fiscal Year 2015 as requested in House Report 113-486.

  • Independent Oversight Program Order approved by Deputy Secretary

    Deputy Secretary of Energy Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall approved a new Independent Oversight Program Order (DOE O 227.1A) on December 21, 2015. The Order prescribes the requirements and responsibilities for the DOE Independent Oversight Program, which is implemented by the Office of Enterprise Assessments. The requirements in this directive are designed to ensure that the Independent Oversight Program is implemented in a transparent, efficient, and constructive manner to support the safe and secure accomplishment of DOE’s missions.

  • Enforcement Workshop Registration

    Pending Departmental approval, the DOE Office of Enterprise Assessments’ (EA) Office of Enforcement will host the 2016 DOE Safety and Security Enforcement Workshop on May 10 and 11, 2016, at the Nevada Support Facility/Nevada Field Office in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
