The 3rd bi-annual Symposium on Thermal and Catalytic Sciences for Biofuels and Biobased Products was held at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on November 1–4, 2016. The symposium focused on thermochemical biomass research and development and provides scientists and engineers an opportunity to present their research and interact with others from the bioenergy community. Industry partners provided updates on successful steps toward commercial-scale deployment of biofuels and biobased products.
