The Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) hosted the 2015 Project Peer Review from March 23–27, 2015 in Alexandria, Virginia. More than 380 attendees participated. During the event, 190 of BETO’s projects, representing more than $400 million in funding, were systematically reviewed by panels of subject-matter experts from industry, academia, and federal agencies.

The bi-annual peer review process provides BETO with critical evaluation and feedback about the management of each technology area portfolio, as well as the Office’s strategic direction and future outlook. The findings from this year’s review will be summarized in a final report, which will be made available on the BETO website.
