This report examines the current and potential future impacts of climate change and extreme weather on the U.S. energy sector at the regional level. It provides illustrative examples of climate resilience actions that have been taken, and identifies potential opportunities and challenges to develop and deploy climate-resilient energy technologies. This report also supports the Administration's efforts to support communities in their climate change preparedness and resilience planning -- and to advance the Energy Department's goal of promoting energy security.
