On January 23, 2015, Bear Head LNG Corporation and Bear Head LNG (USA), LLC (together, “Bear Head LNG”), filed an application for long-term, multi-contract authorization to engage in imports from, for subsequent export to, Canada of up to 250 billion standard cubic feet per year of natural gas by pipeline. Bear Head LNG seeks this authorization for a 25 year term commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or 10 years from the date of issuance of the authorization requested.
