EA-1948: Gila-North Gila Transmission Line Rebuild and Upgrade Project, Yuma County, Arizona

DOE’s Western Area Power Administration (Western) prepared an EA to analyze the potential environmental impacts of a proposal to rebuild and upgrade two parallel 4.8-mile transmission lines between the Gila and North Gila Substations and take actions in support of portions of Arizona Public Service’s construction of a new, 12.8 mile 230-kV transmission line between North Gila and a proposed substation in Yuma County, Arizona.
