Wellford Landfill Methane and Greenhouse Gas to Energy Project, Spartanburg County, South Carolina
The Department of Energy has provided a grant to Spartanburg County and would authorize the County to continue to expend Federal funding to design, permit, and construct a landfill gas project to capture methane from the Wellford Landfill and use that gas to generate power for local industries.
