Section 743(a) of Division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (Pub. L. 111–117) requires executive agencies covered by the Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR) Act (Pub. L. 105–270), except the Department of Defense, to submit annually to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) an inventory of activities performed by service contractors.  The information reported in the inventory will be publicly accessible.

In accordance with FAR Subpart 4.17  Service Contracts Inventory, each agency is required to compile annually an inventory of service contracts performed for, or on behalf of, the agency during the prior fiscal year in order to determine the extent of the agency’s reliance on service contractors.  Agencies shall submit a service contract inventory to OMB for review and approval.  Once approved by OMB, the agency must post the inventory on its website.

Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 government-wide service contract inventory can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/service-contract-inventory.  The Department of Energy’s (DOE) service contract inventory data is included in the government-wide inventory posted on the above link and the government-wide inventory can be filtered to display the inventory data for DOE.
