If you’re a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces and separated under honorable conditions, or if you’re the spouse of an active-duty service member or veteran, you may be eligible to apply under special hiring authorities for veterans, veterans' preference, or military spouse appointing authorities

  • Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) – MSEP is an employment and career partnership, connecting military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote, and retain military spouses. 
  • Operation Warfighter Program – This internship program provides opportunities for wounded, ill, and injured service members to transition military skills into civilian occupation.
  • Solar Ready Vets Network – This U.S. Department of Energy funded network collaborates with various solar organizations to leverage military talent. The network also offers a fellowship that connects transitioning service members with on-the-job training in leadership and management roles in the civilian solar workforce.
