American LNG Marketing LLC - FE Dkt. No. 14-209-LNG

The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on December 31, 2014, by American LNG Marketing LLC (American LNG) requests long-term, multi-contract authorization to export up to 3.02 Bcf of natural gas per year (equivalent to approximately 60,000 metric tons of LNG per year) (I) to any country with which the United States has, or in the future may enter into, a FTA requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas and (2) to any country with which the United States does not have a FTA requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, which currently has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG and with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy. American LNG requests this long-term authorization for a 20-year period commencing on the date of first export or seven years from the date the requested authorization is granted, whichever is first. The quantities of the FTA authorization and non-FTA authorization will not be additive.A federal register notice will be issued for the NFTA portion of the application.
