More than 180 people attended the Women of Waste Management Panel and Networking Reception at the Waste Management 2014 Conference on the safe management and disposition of radioactive waste and radioactive materials in Phoenix earlier this month.

Calloway County High School in Murray won the high school competition Feb. 21 and also advances to the national competition in its division.
MOAB, Utah – EM’s Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Project in Utah was one of three GreenBuy Award recipients for fiscal year 2013. DOE’s Office of Sustainability Support awarded the Moab Project the highest level — the Gold Award — for achieving nine goals in five categories.
PIKETON, Ohio – EM and its deactivation and decommissioning (D&D) contractor, Fluor-B&W Portsmouth, recently achieved a significant milestone in cleanup operations at the former uranium enrichment plant in Piketon.
