DOE Selects Seven Contractors for Waste Treatment Basic Ordering Agreements

Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued seven Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) for the treatment of Low-Level Waste (LLW) and Mixed Low-Level Waste (MLLW). The LLW MLLW treatment services also include the treatment of liquid and solid Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) regulated waste, such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and asbestos.

DOE Awards Contract for Hanford Site 222-S Laboratory Services

Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced today that Wastren Advantage, Incorporated located in Piketon, Ohio has been awarded a $44.6 million contract for the operation and performance of analytical and testing services at the DOE Hanford 222-S Laboratory. Four proposals were received in response to the solicitation. The contract includes a two year base period of performance with three one-year option periods.

Cincinnati - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to IEI-PEC, JV, of Lincoln, Nebraska. IEI-PEC, JV is a small-disadvantaged business under the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Program. The contract will have a maximum value of $4 Million over five years. Firm-fixed-price and time and material task orders will be issued from the basic contract.
