Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for deactivation and remediation services at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP). A contract that includes cost-plus-award-fee and indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract line items for the purpose of providing deactivation and remediation services at PGDP is anticipated.
Cincinnati – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today awarded a task order to the MITRE Corporation, of McLean Virginia. MITRE will provide research and development in support of DOE’s Office of Environmental Management. The task order has an approximate value of $1.176 million, with a performance period of 12 months.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – EM has completed final performance evaluations of two prime contractors in support of deactivation and decommissioning of the former Paducah gaseous diffusion plant. In addition, the operations contractor for EM’s two plants that convert depleted uranium hexafluoride (DUF6) to a more stable form at the Paducah, Kentucky and Portsmouth, Ohio sites received its annual fee determination.

RICHLAND, Wash. – EM’s Richland Operations Office (RL) announced that contractor Mission Support Alliance, LLC (MSA) earned approximately 89 percent of available fee for services provided at the Hanford Site last fiscal year.
RICHLAND, Wash. – EM Office of River Protection (ORP) Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) contractor Bechtel National Inc. improved its performance slightly in calendar year 2015 compared to the last half of 2014, earning 66 percent of its possible award fee, or $8.31 million out of a possible $12.6 million.
