The Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and Office of Fossil Energy hosted a workshop on Energy Optimized Desalination Technology Development on November 5-6, 2015 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, in San Francisco, CA.
This 2-day workshop brought together technical experts in desalination to analyze ways in which to increase research, development and deployment of promising desalination approaches for fresh-water at lower energetic, economic and environmental costs comparable to existing technologies.
