On August 25, 2015, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (NEA-2015-02) to Los Alamos National Security, LLC for violations of 10 C.F.R. Part 830 associated with programmatic deficiencies in the contractor’s implementation of the nuclear criticality safety program at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
