his report provides the results of an independent review of the Los Alamos National Laboratory's preparedness for severe natural phenomena events that was conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS) in March 2012.  The HSS Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations performed this review to evaluate the laboratory's processes for identifying emergency response capabilities and maintaining them in a state of readiness in case of a severe natural phenomenon event.
