WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, November 14, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will deliver opening remarks alongside Senator Lisa Murkowski to the International Framework for Nuclear Energy Cooperation’s (IFNEC) Global Ministerial Conference on “Bringing the World SMRs and Advanced Nuclear” at the White House. The Secretary will speak about the United States’ vision for reviving and revitalizing nuclear energy as an indispensable fuel source for the nation and for the world.

IFNEC is designed as a forum for leaders from all over the world to convene to proliferate peaceful applications of nuclear energy for the benefit of all. IFNEC consists of 34 Participant countries, 31 Observer countries, and 4 international observer organizations.
