Local Option - Energy Revolving Loan Fund

Note: The Federal Housing Financing Agency (FHFA) issued a [http://www.fhfa.gov/webfiles/15884/PACESTMT7610.pdf statement] in July 2010 concerning the senior lien status associated with most PACE programs. In response to the FHFA statement, most local PACE programs have been suspended until further clarification is provided.

Mansfield Municipal Electric Department - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Mansfield Municipal Electric Department encourages energy efficiency through the ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Incentive Program. Cash rebates are offered for ENERGY STAR central air conditioners, refrigerators, clothes washing machines, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, and window air conditioners. The offer is limited to a total of $100 worth of ENERGY STAR appliance rebates per customer account for appliances purchased in the same calendar year.

Marblehead Municipal Light Department - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Marblehead Light Department encourages conservation within the residential sector through the Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. Rebates are available for energy efficient appliances, central A/C, heat pumps, programmable thermostats, dehumidifiers, and insulation. Rebate applications must be submitted to the utility within 12 months of equipment purchase date. Equipment eligibility and additional program requirements can be found in the rebate guide located on the program web site. Massachusetts Municipal Commercial Industrial Incentive Program

Certain municipal utilities in Massachusetts, in cooperation with Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company, have begun offering energy efficiency incentives to their commercial and industrial customers. The Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company administers the programs on behalf of the municipal utilities. There are several programs offered, generally these include commercial and industrial retrofit programs, lighting programs, and new construction programs.

Massachusetts New Homes with ENERGY STAR

In Massachusetts, home builders constructing new homes in territories of sponsoring utilities and energy efficiency service providers* can receive up to $8,000 in incentives for building a home more efficient than the typical Massachusetts home.

MassSAVE organizes commercial, industrial, and institutional conservation services for programs administered by Massachusetts electric companies, gas companies and municipal aggregators. These utilities include Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, The Berkshire Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, National Grid, New England Gas Company, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. The programs are available to all customers which have a facility that buys its power from one of MassSAVE's member companies.
