Moorhead Public Service (MPS) offers rebates for qualifying electricity producing solar or wind renewable energy systems. Wind rebates are not availble to residential customers. The lighting rebate program offers rebates on energy efficient fluorescent T8 or T5 lighting with electronic ballasts, high bays, high performance (super) T-8s, pulse-start metal halide, compact fluorescent lamps, LED exit signs, and lighting controls.

Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) offers financial incentives to encourage energy efficiency within the residential sector. Rebates are available for a variety of equipment including air-source heat pumps, ground-source heat pumps, Energy Star appliances, and electric resistance heating products. Equipment rebates are only available to those participating in the Energy Wise Programs, with the exception of appliances. All Heat pumps must be central systems to operate on Energy Wise programs and qualify for MVEC rebates.
Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) offers incentives to encourage commercial and industrial customers to increase the energy efficiency of facilities. Rebates are offered for the installation of energy efficient improvements, retrofit motors,variable speed drives, new or retrofit lighting, vending machine controllers, compressed air evaluations, ventilation systems, cooling systems and chillers. Agricultural equipment and efficiency measures such as dairy plate coolers, dairy-free water heaters, agriculture ventilation, and custom hog farrowing are also eligible for rebates.
