Inland Power & Light offers a variety of rebates through the Conservation Services program. The Performance Tested Comfort Systems (PTCS) Heating/Cooling & Duct Sealing Rebate program offers incentives for qualifying heat pumps installed by a certified dealer. Homes with 50% or more of the ductwork located outside of a conditioned space must have the ducts tested and sealed by a PTCS certified contractor to qualify for a Heat Pump rebate. Additional incentives are available for certain Energy Star appliances and water heaters. Inland Power & Light also offers a refrigerator/freezer recycling program that pays customers $30 for each unit recycled. To qualify, units must be 1995 or older models, 10 to 30 cubic feet, and in working condition. Customers can also receive replacement showerheads from the utility at no cost. Customers should see the program web site for rebate applications and full program details.
