Grant County PUD assists residential customers who wish to increase the efficiency of homes by providing financing for a variety of improvements. 10-year loans with an interest rate of 4% are available for the following measures:
* Ceiling insulation
* Underfloor and HVAC duct insulation
* Door replacement
* Single-pane window replacement for site-built homes
* Heat pump upgrade from an electric furnace in a site-built home or manufactured home
In addition, the Ductless Heat Pump Program gives homes with electric baseboards, ceiling or wall units a loan plus a $1,500 rebate to install a new system. Interested customers should contact utility for more information.
