Dixie Electric Cooperative, a Touchstone Electric Cooperative, offers the Energy Resources Conservation (ERC) loan to residential customers pursue energy efficiency measures. The program allows a maximum loan of $5,000 at a 5% interest rate. Funds can be used for improvements, upgrades, gas to electric conversions, or installation of a heat pump system. The payments for the loan are added to the customers' monthly utility bill and can be spread over a maximum of 60 months. Customers may be subject to a credit review and approval.
