Appalachian Power and AEP offer commercial and industrial electric customers in West Virginia rebates on energy efficient lighting and HVAC equipment. Measures can be installed by a license contractor participating in the network of self installed and inspected afterwards. Once work is a completed by the contractor and the paperwork has been submitted, a rebate check will be sent in under 45 days. Eligible items include T8 Upgrades, HPT8 Upgrades, T5 Upgrades, LED Upgrades, CFL Upgrades, Occupancy Sensors, Pulse Start Metal Halide, VFD Installation, Air Conditioner Upgrades, Heat Pump Upgrades, Water Cooled Chiller Upgrades, Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner Upgrades, and Programmable Thermostats.
VFDs must be installed on motors of 50 hp or less.
