PADUCAH, Kentucky – The Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth Paducah Project Office (PPPO) is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Jennifer Woodard as the new Paducah Site Lead.

Mrs. Woodard has over 20 years of experience in engineering and program/project management with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and as a DOE contractor. Mrs. Woodard has a diverse background that includes Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) cleanup projects, significant regulatory interaction and negotiation, contractor procurement/oversight, project controls, budgeting and community relations.

As a DOE employee at the Paducah Site for the last six years, Mrs. Woodard has served in multiple capacities, including Federal Facility Agreement Manager (FFA), Alternate Deputy Designated Federal Official to the Citizens’ Advisory Board, Project Manager, and Contracting Officer’s Representative. Mrs. Woodard will assume her responsibilities as the Paducah Site Lead effective June 15th.

The Paducah Site Lead will continue to report to the Manager of the PPPO in the execution of her responsibilities overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations at the Paducah Site. Mrs. Woodard and her family have been members of the Paducah community for 18 of the last 22 years, going back to her first engineering job in 1992 with a local Paducah manufacturing firm. Mrs. Woodard is an established leader with a strong technical background. She has a strong commitment to the Paducah community and looks forward to working with local stakeholders and community leaders as the primary mission of the DOE's Paducah site transitions from commercial enrichment operations to long-term cleanup and decommissioning.
