The Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management has numerous and diverse responsibilities. Our top priority is protecting the health and safety of the region by removing environmental legacies created from historic operations at the site. These projects are eliminating hazards, providing clean land back the community, and creating new opportunities for DOE’s missions and economic development.

To accomplish any of these tasks, we need program and project management professional that ensure the work is accomplished in a safe, efficient, and financially responsible manner. Our employees provide direction and oversight to thousands of contractor employees performing activities at our cleanup sites.

Our office also aims to have the highest level of transparency and collaboration with local stakeholders. Community engagement is crucial in forging these relationships, and we strive to host events and release timely news to keep our local stakeholders informed and involved.
