This answer supersedes the answer distributed by the Contracting Officer in the Miscellaneous FAQs dated January 12, 2010 relative to the question: "May SGIG funds be used to purchase and install smart meters and related equipment in the listed types of venues (i.e., casinos, aquariums, zoos, golf courses or swimming pools), under Section 1604 of the ARRA?"
