The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) provided funding to the City of Philadelphia (City) under the DOE's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG). The City proposes to use - $98,450 of EECBG funding to install a green roof, living wall, and rainwater collection/irrigation system at the Urban Outfitters, Inc. headquarters, ("Building #7-) located at the Navy Yard, 1500 Kitty Hawk Ave., Philadelphia (proposed project).
