Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM) proposes to continue to collect soil/sediment/vegetation samples and place thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs) at preestablished locations at SNL/NM and the surrounding community. Soil sampling involves collection of approximately 1,500 grams of material from the top two inches of soil. Vegetation sampling includes collection of approximately 500 grams of vegetation (typically perennial grasses but sometimes samples from small leafy plants).
