MONDAY: Energy Secretary Chu to Join Governor Culver and Congressman Boswell to Announce New Funding for Iowa Energy Independence Efforts
Washington, DC – On Monday, June 22, 2009, U. S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will make a major announcement on funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for Iowa during a visit to Des Moines. Secretary Chu, joined by Governor Chet Culver and Congressman Leonard Boswell, will deliver brief remarks at a meeting of the Iowa Office of Energy Independence Board.
