Jordan Cove Liquefaction Project (Coos County, OR) and Pacific Connector Pipeline Project (Coos, Klamath, Jackson, and Douglas Counties, OR)

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, with DOE as a cooperating agency, issued a Final EIS that analyzes the potential environmental impacts of a proposal to construct and operate the Jordan Cove Liquefaction and Pacific Connector Pipeline Projects, respectively a proposed new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal and associated facilities in Coos County, Oregon, and a natural gas pipeline between the Malin Hub in Klamath County, Oregon, and the Jordan Cove terminal. DOE, Office of Fossil Energy, has an obligation under Section 3 of the Natural Gas Act to authorize the import and export of natural gas, including LNG, unless it finds that the import or export is not consistent with the public interest.

The FEIS Cover, front matter, and Summary are posted here. The complete FEIS is available, in multiple files, from the FERC eLibrary website. (At http://elibrary.ferc.gov/idmws/search/fercadvsearch.asp, search for documents issued in September 2015 in docket CP13-483.)
