Colorado Springs Utilities Next-Generation CFB Coal Generating Unit, Fountain, Colorado
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announces its intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the potential environmental impacts of project proposed by Colorado Springs Utilities to design, construct, and operate a Next- Generation Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Coal Generating Unit demonstration plant near Fountain, El Paso County, Colorado.
