The U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and its implementing regulations on the proposed construction, operation, and decontamination/decommissioning of a Transuranic (TRU) Waste Treatment Facility at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
