Waste Isolation Pilot Plant Disposal Phase
DOE has decided to dispose of up to 2,500 cubic meters of transuranic (TRU) waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in concentrations of 50 parts per million (ppm) or greater at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) near Carlsbad, New Mexico.
