Cove Point Liquefaction Project, Lusby, MD
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will prepare an EA that will discuss the environmental impacts of the Cove Point Liquefaction Project involving construction and operation of facilities by Dominion Cove Point LNG, LP in Maryland and Virginia. This EA will be used by FERC in its decision-making process to determine whether the construction and operation of proposed facilities is in the public convenience and necessity. FERC is the lead Federal agency in preparing the EA; DOE is participating as a cooperating agency.
