The U.S. Department of Energy is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed construction of the Missouri Alternative & Renewable Energy Technology (MARET) Center. The Department of Energy has determined that the proposed action is not a major federal action that would significantly affect the quality of the human environment within the meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
