Measurement of Hydrocarbon and Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Uncharacterized Area Sources
CX(s) Applied: A9, A11, B3.1, B3.6
Location(s): Utah, Utah, Utah, Colorado, Colorado
Offices(s): National Energy Technology Laboratory
The objective of the project is to develop and utilize a sensitive, cost-effective method to characterize carbon dioxide, methane, and non-methane hydrocarbon emissions from area sources. Work at field locations in Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett Counties in Utah and Rio Blanco and Garfield Counties in Colorado will include collecting air, soil, and water samples from various sources for analysis.
