The U.S. DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, North America to track the progress of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) for up to five years. The proposed objective is to collect and submit real-world vehicle performance data and, if available and plausible, provide dynamometer data to the National Renewable Research Laboratory for analysis and aggregation into composite data products, which would be utilized to validate the performance of FCEVs.
