The Cortina Band of Wintun Indians of California proposes to purchase, install, and retrofit an approximately 2 kilowatt photovoltaic solar system on the roof of the Tribe’s Water Treatment Building (built in 2006). These solar panels would provide power for the wells and chlorination system which would result in an energy savings.
