Pleasant Grove City in Utah is proposing to use Congressionally Directed funding via the Department of Energy to evaluate, design, test, install, and monitor a micro-hydroelectric generation system. The proposed facility would be located within Pleasant Grove's Battle Creek Water Storage and Flow Control Complex and utilize existing municipal infrastructure and resources to generate power.
