Test Procedures for Measuring Energy Efficiency of Consumer Products and Industrial Equipment
CX(s) Applied: A5, A6
Offices(s): Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
DOE proposes to adopt procedures for consumer products, commercial and industrial equipment that manufacturers of covered equipment must use (1) as the basis for certifying to DOE that their equipment complies with the applicable energy conservation standards adopted under Energy Policy and Conservation Act (ECPA), as amended; and (2) for making representations about the efficiency of those products. Similarly, DOE would use These lest requirements to determine whether the equipment complies with relevant standards promulgated under EPCA.
