The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) provided funding to the State of New Hampshire (NH) under the DOE's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG). NH proposes to use provide - $142,701 of EECBG funding to the Town of Rye for energy efficient upgrades and construction of a 20 ton ground source heat pump system (GSHP) at the Rye Town Hall building (proposed project).
