In response to the need for Canby Utility Board to shift the load for Canby, Oregon, from PGE Canby Substation to a new Knights Bridge Substation in order to accommodate Canby load growth, Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is planning to install a new meter at the new Knights Bridge Substation and modify the current metering systems at PGE’s Twilight and Canby substations and Canby Utility Board’s Wescott Substation. Canby Utility Board would build and own the Knights Bridge Substation. BPA would install, own, and operate bidirectional metering at the Knights Bridge Substation; retire PGE’s Twilight Substation meter points 867 and 1029 (PGE owns and would retire the associated metering equipment); remove BPA meters, rack, and instrument transformers at PGE’s Canby Substation; and replace the existing BPA meter at Canby Utility Board’s Wescott Substation with a new bi-directional meter that BPA would own and operate.
