CX(s) Applied: B3.6
Date: 09/13/2011
Location(s): Aiken, South Carolina
Office(s): Environmental Management, National Energy Technology Laboratory
Synthesis and characterization of coatings including carbon-based composites, polymers and sol-gel will be used to make coatings with different optical and electrical properties for enhanced functionality. The coatings will be applied to a solid inert substrate such as quartz, ceramic, or metal to coat the material of interest. The physical properties are going to be studied including optical and electrical. The proposed activities will be conducted in 735-11A room 110, inside a fume hood.
