Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant. Native Village of Port Lions proposes to purchase and install a 16 feet x 34 feet wooden foundation for a metal shed kit and paper baler. Large amounts of cardboard would be stored in the shed until the cardboard can be transported out of the village for recycle. The baled cardboard will be transported approximately once a month via flatbed truck on the Alaska Marine Highway System ferry from Port Lions to Kodiak for recycling.
