Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Develop a solar water heater rebate program, 2) retrofit street lights with renewable energy lights, 3) install solar photovoltaic water heater on new Fire Station 65, 4) prepare educational materials on reducing energy costs and distribute coupons for compact fluorescent light (CFL) light bulbs, 5) install lighting (occupancy) sensors in municipal buildings, and 6) install light emitting diode (LED) traffic signals throughout the city.
