The City of Mesa, Arizona proposes to use $749,500 of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds for blower retrofitting activities at the South East Wastewater Reclamation Facility (SEWRF). The purpose of this project is to retrofit the SEWRF with turbo blowers and fine bubble aeration. This energy efficiency project will replace the existing 400 horsepower blowers and coarse bubble diffusers with 250 horsepower turbo blowers and fine bubble diffusers.
