The Delaware State Energy Office proposes to use $172,691 of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds to replace the aging, inefficient, original oil heaters at the maintenance shop at Lums Pond State Park with gas fired heaters. The replacement proposed gas line heaters have a heating efficiency rating of 95% which is significantly better than the existing oil heaters which have grown inconsistent over the years and were originally rated with a heating efficiency of 80%.
