The University of Hawaii is proposing to use Department of Energy funding under subtask 2.4 to provide advisory and technical support to Lockheed-Martin and Makai Ocean Engineering in support of their planning development for a future Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) heat exchanger test facility in Hawaii. Specifically the University will assist in selecting potential sites for the testing facility in addition to developing a technical statement of work for Lockheed-Martin and Makai Ocean Engineering.
