Anne Arundel County, Maryland proposes to use $1,052,060 of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funding for their proposed Activity #2: Pascal Senior Center Energy Efficiency Project, Ground Source Heat Pump. The total geothermal heat pump system tonnage is 75 tons and consists of a geothermal closed ground-loop serving one nominal 80-ton scroll water chiller and one nominal 80-ton heat-reclaim scroll water heater. Two 232 gallons per minute (gpm) pumps serve the closed ground loop system, two 120 gpm pumps (with Variable Frequency Drives) serve the chilled water system and two 62 gpm pumps serve the hydronic hot water system.
